Galaxy Pocket Is Samsung’s Latest Tiny Budget Android

Samsung has filled the gap between the devices launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III with a tiny Android smartphone called Galaxy Pocket.

The Android 2.3 device sports a 2.8-inch, 240×320 pixel screen, an 832 MHz processor, 3 GB of storage (expandable with an SD memory card) and a 2-megapixel camera, which places it amongst other low-end Androids such as the HTC Wildfire S.

HSPA and Wi-Fi are also on-board, and full dimensions of the device are 103.7 x 57.5 x 12 mm, meaning it will fit even the smallest of pockets.

Galaxy Pocket will be available in the UK later this year, says Samsung. There’s no word on the price yet, but we suspect it will be among the cheapest Androids on the market.
